It’s been a while since the last post. We can all admit during the pandemic, we’ve lost touch with the world a bit. I certainly have gone full hermit mode but I’m glad things are opened up again and I’ve been busy catching up with all the people I love and it feels great! Plus, me being a hermit means I’ve been doing a lot behind the locked doors so here are some of the examples. One of the most memorable recent work is called DREAMMACHINE and it’s a fully immersive art installation happening in London and Cardiff at the moment. I’ve helped mixing the composition which was done by my good old friend Jon Hopkins and without spoiling what’s it about, I’d highly recommend everyone to go book a ticket since it’s all free!
I’ve been busy mixing many albums during the lockdown too and so happy that these works are finally out and here are some of my most favourite ones. If you haven’t got around checking it out, I’ve included the link to Spotify below. These 2 albums are in a way very opposite but both came during the times that are very challenging to all of us. It was such a privilege to be part of their journey and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did while mixing.
Jon Hopkins - Music for Psychedelic Therapy [Domino]
Kelly Lee Owens - LP.8 [Smalltown Supersound]
I’m also really stoked about the amount of people who have listened to my remix of Manu Delago’s “Delta Sleep” despite it being 40 mins long and all the great positive feedback that came after. Thank you so much for all your support. I love each and every one of you! If you are interested, you should go check out the whole remix album which is about 7.5 hours long. You can relax to it or even fall asleep.
